First Haircut

Today we took Wynn in for her first haircut. It was time to get rid of some of the baby fuzz that was turning into a great big ducktail every time she took a nap.

She was great at the salon. Sat in the chair without needing to be on Mama's lap. Didn't fuss. She probably wasn't the easiest client to work on because she kept wanting to turn around and see what was going on. A couple graham crackers and a giant comb to play with kept her happy and compliant.

The "after" shot. Much more sophisticated, don't you think?

We've been noticing in recent weeks that Wynn's face is changing. She's losing some of her baby face and is growing into her "kid face". Scott and I both have moments when we look at her and it just stops us in our tracks when we realize again how truly beautiful she is. Of course, we're also taken aback by how smart she is. :-)

Definitely sophisticated. :) But I do like the ducktail! Jack has yet to get his first haircut, but he'll need it soon--lots of fuzzies over his ears.
