Yinghua Academy is a great place and we are so thankful that Wynn gets to go there. The academic program is first-rate and all the teachers and staff know Wynn & clearly show how much they value her as a person and excellent student!
If you are wondering what a Chinese-immersion classroom looks like, here are some photos - in many respects very much like a regular American elementary classroom, but you see a lot more labeling and written material here - because of course they're trying to make the school a "text-rich environment".
We've gone to China to pick up our daughter! Now the adventure continues in Minnesota - and beyond!

Spelling practice at the State Fair
Much of the State Fair has been pulled down for yet another year - we love to go over after dinner while there's still sunlight for our walks
Wynn has decided this idea is quite fun. I wonder what other people walking and driving around the Fairgrounds must think...
The Senator's little cabin hasn't been moved out yet & you can walk up on the porch... so obligatory goofball snapshot...
